Harold Eugene "Tim" Matthews

Mr. Harold Eugene "Tim" Matthews age 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee and Frances Collum Matthews, siblings, Raymond Matthews, Bobby Matthews, Betty Huggins, Margaret Robinson, Gail Dixon, nephews, Jeffrey Dixon, Jason Matthews, Richard Robinson, niece, Sherry Robinson, great-nephew, Zachary Moore and great-niece, Joeli Mothershead. He was employed as a local painter in the Mobile area for many years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid Auburn fan. He was a member of Myers Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Matthews served his country honorably in the United States Navy and the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. Mr. Matthews is survived by his siblings, Wayne Matthews (Scharlotte), Sue Norton, Roger Matthews, Linda Matthews, Janice Maddox, his sister-in-law, Myrna Matthews, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Saraland on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
