George Phillip Zito

George Phillip Zito – a 69 year-old native of Sulphur, Louisianan and resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was a veteran of the United States Army paratroopers. Mr. Zito received his Lord Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savior at the age of 20 in Mt. Shasta, California. He loved his dog “Max.”

Mr. Zito was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Vincent Zito, Sr. and Jewel Dean Redmond Zito; brother, Bobby Zito; and sister, Helen Burns. He is survived by his children, Michelle Bowden, Windy Zito, and Adam Zito (Peggy); siblings, Eddie Zito (Leslie), Clarence Zito, Diane Swaggerty, Carol Swaggerty (Jim), Phillip Zito, Jr. (Tiffany), and Sam Zito; grandchildren, Ashely and Farren; other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a special thanks, to Lisa, April, and Brenda for all of their care and support during this trying time.

A memorial visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 12 p.m. until the 2 p.m. chapel memorial service. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
