Gary Lister McGee – a 72 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Satsuma passed away at his home on Monday, December 14, 2020. He retired from Coca-Cola as a construction planner. He was an excellent fisherman, loved hunting and dancing at the Azalea Ballroom, enjoyed travelling and going on cruises, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Mr. McGee was a member of the Blackwell Masonic Lodge and the Satsuma Lions Club. He was famous among his family and friends for his fish fries.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Nellie Rae Moss and Earl Moss, and sister, Nancy McGee Baldwin. He is survived by three children, Angela Knapp (Ron), Shane McGee, and Cary McGee; sisters, Sandra McGee Elliott and Cindy Moss; three grandchildren, Ashley Yeakle, Crystal Orso (Steven), and David Buckingham; five great-grandchildren; special friend, Betty J. Eddins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 until the service hour. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
