Dr. Gary S. Elmore Sr.

Dr. Gary S. Elmore Sr. - known by his many patients as "Doctor 2 Shots," passed from this life to spend eternity with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on July 3, 2012. Dr. Elmore was 79 years old at the time. He served in the Korean War with the Navy. He was an avid turkey hunter, dove hunter, fisherman and loving father and grandfather. Dr. Elmore was a Mason, a member of the Abba Temple Shrine, and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters in Mobile, AL. Dr. Elmore was preceded in death by his grandson Paul Elmore. He is survived by his wife Golda; four sons, Steve, Hugh (Donna), Bryant and Gary Jr.; his only daughter, Dyana Anderson (Foster); 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be missed and loved dearly by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour.
