BRANNAN

Mrs. Dorothy Bailey Brannan, born in Chatom Al., and resided in Satsuma, Al. Born January 13, 1930, died April 29, 2010, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: H. Huey Bailey and Cora Mae Carlton Bailey Knapp.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ernest Brannan: one daughter, Dotty (Neil) Pipkin of Satsuma, four sons: Charles (Debra) Meinhardt, Joe (Cathy) Brannan, Tommy (Bobbie) Brannan both of Northport, Al, and Leon (Kay) Brannan of Citronelle, Al: three brothers Henry R. Bailey of Moreland, Ga., James H. Bailey and L.M. Knapp of Robertsdale, Alabama; Thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Dot was very active in her community and civic activities; but most proud of her family. She will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2010, from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest lawn Memorial Gardens.
