Doris Bazzell Stanfield – an 88 year-old native of Panama City, FL and longtime resident of Saraland passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. She was a member of College Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Stanfield was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James R. Stanfield, and granddaughter, Forrest Anne Arnett. She is survived by her sons, Norman Stanfield (Janet), Joe Stanfield (Regina), and Sam Stanfield (Gina); brother, Jack Bazzell (Lois); sisters, Mildred Cato (Leonard) and Frankie Guy; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, September 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
