Dora Mae Jenkins Wright

Dora Mae Jenkins Wright – a 75 year-old native of Gilbertown, Alabama and longtime resident of Eight, Mile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Mrs. Wright was a member of Azalea City Church of Christ. She was a friend to everyone and always willing to help anyone in need. Mrs. Wright was a wonderful cook.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Lindy Wright; children, Greg Wright (Carla), Greeta Graham (Jeff), Jennifer Donovan (Brian), and Becky Windham; siblings, Rachel Homan, Rex Jenkins (Elizabeth), and John Henry Jenkins; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 10 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
