Donovan M. Sutton—a longtime resident of Creola, Al., passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014. He was a member of Creola 1st Baptist Church. Don retired from Courtaulds after 40 years of employment. He loved to hunt and fish and was the President of Big Rack Hunting Camp. He will be remembered as a beloved father, paw-paw and Great Granddaddy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jimmye L. Sutton and 2 brothers. Don is survived by his 6 children, Donnie, Pam, Betsy, Greg, Randy and Lisa, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 4 brothers. Visitation will be Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 11th at 10 A.M. from the Chapel of Creola 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Al Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Creola Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Glen Bass, Terry Sutton, Steve Sutton, Van Sutton, Anthony Sutton and Greg Sutton.
