Cecil retired after 30+ years as a Boiler Maker. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 420 and the Boiler Makers Local 112. He enjoyed bird hunting, fox hunting and deer hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Eugene and Stella Langley Frye, Sr.; Son-in-law, Billy Ray Adcock; siblings, Leroy Frye, Everett Frye, Maxine Hollman, Evla Lou Mallette, Walter Frye, Jr., Ophelia McVay, and James Frye.
Cecil is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 ½ years, Elizabeth Bennett Frye; children, Patrice Adcock and Cecil Ray Frye, Jr., (Melissa); grandchildren, Valerie Adcock, Cecil Ray Frye, III, and Carson Frye; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Adcock; a brother, Charles Frye and a sister, Daisy Blankenship (Marvin); special friends, Douglas Byrd and Joe Matthews, also, survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home Saraland, Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 5:00 PM .
