Mrs. Betty Sue Simmons Sumrall, age 75, a native of Rock Run, Alabama and a longtime resident of Saraland, Alabama died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at a local hospital. She was a member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. Mrs. Sumrall was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Sumrall and son, John Thomas “Butch” Sumrall, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Sumrall (Tim) New, Kimberly A. Sumrall; two sisters, Mary Spicer, Nora (Dick) Hammons; four grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) New, Garrett New, Scott New, Wesley Sumrall and one great grandchild, Jayden, many other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday 12 noon until 1:30 PM at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.
