Bennie Rex Glover

Bennie Rex Glover – loving husband, father, and grandfather, an 84 year-old native of Cottonwood, Alabama and resident of Saraland passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He retired from Alcoa as a crane operator after 25 years of service. Mr. Glover was a member of Spice Pond Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles, and reading.

Mr. Glover was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Glover, and son-in-law, Paul Hennis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Margaret Williams Glover; children, Roger Glover (Sharon), and Rhonda Hennis; sister, Deborah Pelegrino (Al); grandchildren, Nicole Sullivan (Dan), Rachel Evans (Corey), Martin Riley, and Rebecca McPherson; great-grandchildren, Landon Sullivan, Ashlynn Sullivan, Scarlett Evans, Cole McPherson, and Hannah McPherson; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
