Barbara Patterson Fendley Salter

Barbara Patterson Fendley Salter - an 87 year-old native of Prichard, Alabama and and a longtime resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. Mrs. Salter was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Leslie Patterson and Wanza Waite Patterson; first husband, Richard Alton Fendley, Sr.; and second husband, Charles Salter. Mrs. Salter is survived by her children, Richard Alton Fendley, Jr. and Suzanne Robinson (Donald); brothers, Howard Patterson (Nita) and Charlie Patterson (Wanda); bonus daughter, Deeanna Smith; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family and friends will meet in the parking lot of Pine Crest Funeral Home & Cemetery beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, to line up for the procession to the graveside for the 2 p.m. graveside services and interment. Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Patterson, Aiden Patterson, Matthew Patterson, Brian Patterson, Carlos Covo, and Nathan Covo with Charlie Patterson and Matt Warren serving as honorary pallbearers.
