Annette Burnett Ridgeway

April 1, 1951 - August 13, 2021 Mrs. Annette Burnett Ridgeway, age 70, native of York, AL, longtime resident of Semmes, AL, and currently residing in Fairhope, AL, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 in a local hospital. After many years of working in the medical insurance field, Annette retired, but continued to work for the Volunteer Auxiliary at Thomas Hospital. Annette was a long time member of Semmes First Baptist Church, and was most recently a member of Fairhope First Baptist Church. Annette took great joy in her family, particular traveling with her daughters, after retirement. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother - affectionately known as Mama Net to her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. Ridgeway, her mother, Jewel Burnett, her father, Henry C. Burnett, and her sister, Jacquelyn Strickland.

Mrs. Ridgeway is survived by her children: Leslie R. Forsman (Jonathan), Carrie R. Dauphin (Ray), and Amy R. Wilson (Scott). She is also survived by her brother, Rex Burnett, and grandchildren: Savannah, Emily, Matthew, Benjamin, Sarah, Parker, and great-granddaughter Jacquelyn Jewel.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Forsman, Ray Dauphin, Matthew Dauphin, Benjamin Dauphin, Scott Wilson, and Parker Wilson.

A visitation for Annette will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. A visitation will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Semmes First Baptist Church, 4070 Wulff Road, Semmes, AL 36575.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Semmes First Baptist Church, 4070 Wulff Road, Semmes, AL 36575. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Semmes First Baptist Cemetery, 3701 Wulff Road, Semmes, AL, 36575.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Thomas Hospital Auxiliary.
