Alice M. Swann – loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and an 80 year-old longtime resident of Saraland, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Cecil E. Swann. Mrs. Swann is survived by her children, Angela Garrick, David Swann (Mary), Mary Bush, Paul Swann (Inna), and Renee Nelson (Allen); sisters, Alma Rouse and Dola Smtih; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Amanda, Jeromy, Heather, Christy, Rachel, Nicole, Jason, and Chris; 8 great-gandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
