William (Or Bill as many of us knew him), was born October 23rd, 1952 to Betty Georgia Trotter and Augustine Padilla.
Bill grew up in Pomona, CA, and graduated from Garey High school. Shortly after graduating he met the love of his life Francis Angulo. They were married June 3rd, 1972. They we’re blessed with three beautiful children, Yvonne, Frank, and Adrian.
Baby Frank sadly passed away at the age of 6 months old, on September 14th, 1975. Bill and Francis were happily married until May 2nd, 1982, when Francis unexpectedly passed away from a heart condition.
Bill later relocated to San Francisco where he was a diesel mechanic for Laidlaw School Bus Company. He was with the company for 20 Years, and had a successful career. He eventually moved to Santa Rosa, Ca. He continued to commute to San Francisco everyday but would go the scenic route and enjoy the beauty of the bay. He was reliable and a true hard worker. He could fix just about anything and was the best mechanic a person could know. Cars and computers were some of his favorite things to work on but he also enjoyed building do it yourself projects around the house. Bill had the biggest heart anyone could have and would take care of anyone who needed help, especially his loved ones.
Bill loved to travel and had visited El Salvador several times. He was adventurous and knew how to have a good time. Margaritas with salt on the rim, was his favorite cocktail. He also loved a big steak cooked medium rare and sweets.
Bill leaves behind his sister, Patricia Brooks, his brother Danny Padilla, his daughter Yvonne Olivas, his son, Adrian Padilla, as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Augustine Padilla, his wife Francis Padilla, his son Frank Padilla, and his brothers Tony and Paul Padilla.
Our lives will never be the same without Bill. We can take comfort in knowing his spirit will always be with us. He will truly be missed, and will be forever loved, and forever remembered.
