I remember sitting at home and hearing an ooooga horn! It was Verla and Cindy picking me up for a drive we would drive around honking that cool horn and revving up the glass packs. Always fun.

           DEATH:   November 11th, 2020  Peacefully in her sleep.
           PRECEDED IN DEATH:  Loving husband of 50 years Robert Hubbard II.
                                Brothers: Edward Borden and James Borden
           SURVIVING:  Daughter- Cindy, married to Jim Sutliff
                                   Son- Ron, married to Chrisie Hubbard
                                   Daughter- Debbie, married to Jeff Ferguson
                                   Grandkids- Cindy Marie, Jennifer, Krystal,
                                                        Kimmie, Jessica, and Nicholas
                                   Great Grandkids- Jenessa, Ellie and Liam
           GRAUDATED:  June 1959 Roosevelt HS- Fresno, CA 
                                                  Home of the Rough Riders
           EMPLOYMENT:  Circuit Board Assembler
           HOBBIES:  Roller Skating, Softball and Bowling were her sports. Playing Scrabble, SORRY! and any CARD game. Reading Romance novels and Eating Chocolate. An avid SF 49er Football fan. Watching murder/mystery/home renovation shows. Losing the TV Remote under her booty. Spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Telling silly jokes and always making you laugh. Trips to the Flea Market and Used Book Store. Enjoyed Country Western music and Disneyland trips with her family. Her LOVE was endless and unconditional. A LOVING WOMAN WHO WILL BE MISSED BY MANY; MAY GOD KEEP HER SOUL SAFE. IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. LOVE YOU MOM.


Verla so many fond memories but my favorite was you picking me up with Ronnie and Cindy in the bronco it had the best glass packs on it you would rev it up and honk the ooga horn.! We always went on the best drives. You alway had a smile on your face and that’s what I will miss.  Your with Bob and my mom and dad. Probably fishing.!Till we meet again.
