Attended U of Calif Santa Barbara, CA. on the G.I. Bill taking a Liberal Arts Course.
After two years she moved to Oakland, CA and worked at Shell Development Company in the Research and Development Division of Shell Oil Company, as an executive secretary.
She retired in 1973 after 22 years of service *(while in the Army she received a Good Conduct Medal, American Theater and Unit citation)
She is registered with Rosie the Riveter for her employment during World War II with an ordinance plant in LaPorte, Indiana. This is a memorial organization for women who did work as civilians for the War such as shipbuilding, etc.
Her hobbies were traveling and watercolor / acrylic painting of landscapes and other scenery such as the ocean. She also enjoyed photography.
No services will be held. Arrangements were made by Neptune Society of Northern California and her ashes are to be interred at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
