Pedro R. Prado

Pedro "Pete" R. Prado, born on May 18, 1942, lived a loving life as a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend in his favorite small town of Santa Paula. He resided here until he passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was cherished for his kind-heart and open arms. Pete was known for traits of being a gentleman, a high quality man, a hard worker, and his ability to produce the most beautiful roses with his green thumb. He was loved by his community with his 40 years of dedication to Calavo Growers. A man that inspired others and served as a father figure to many - his legacy of one liners, quick wit, cheerful smiles, and tender soul will forever be cherished.
