I was the back neighbor over the fence when she lived in her longtime Westside Santa Paula home.  I remember both her and also her husband Frank.  Mrs Cobos and I shared a few conversations about a lot of things and I enjoyed her stories about early Santa Paula and how her father's house drifted away in the flood of the St Francis Dam disaster but also of how it was able to be soundly reattached to its original foundation.  I think at the time she was only about age 4.  
Although I believe I recall that Mrs Cobos had three adult daughters, and despite the fact that we never spoke of it, it's possible, I'm not sure, that she lost a baby son in the 1940s.  I by happenstance one time saw the grave, much later after I had lost contact with Mrs Cobos after I moved elsewhere.  For a long time, I would occasionally see flowers at the grave; then, at Easter-2023, no flowers, which made me begin to google for any info to see if perhaps Mrs Cobos had passed on which indeed seems to be the case.  I emptied the water-filled floral can at the grave and inverted the can for safekeeping.  I had sent a letter to her which I don't know if she ever received saying that for as long as I ever go to Santa Paula Cemetery to tend to my own family's graves, I'll always check on her baby's grave if/when she can't do it anymore herself.  Again, I could have this all wrong, maybe it's not even a grave of the Cobos family; but I always had a hunch about it.  Really, I will always remember Mrs Cobos as just the nicest, most-genuine woman; she was the same age as my own mother who is also deceased.  Actually, Frank and Anita Cobos were once a guest in my parents' home in the early 2000s, and I was also a guest in Mrs Cobos' home after Frank had passed.  She had pride in her house where she'd lived since 1950; it must have been very hard for her to leave it after 70 years (I had come across its sale in the online real estate pages).  Oh, Mrs Cobos, rest in sweet peace; I will always remember you.
