Mary Eileen Olivier born was September 2, 1937 in South Pasadena, California and died February 26, 2012 at her residence in Santa Monica, California. Mary graduated from St. Monica's High School and then attended UCLA with a major in History and a minor in English. While at UCLA, she was a class officer and held numerous honoraries. She was a Life Master in the game of Bridge, and an avid sports fan. She loved the Bruins, Dodgers and Lakers. She and her husband Hank celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June. Mary is survived by her husband, her four children, Jacqueline, John, Michael and Stephen and her seven grandchildren, Sean, Erin, John Cole, Drake, Christopher, Joshua and Henry. she is also survived her her brother John L. Kingsley and a sister Kathleen Carr. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Monica's Church in Santa Monica. There will be a viewing at the funeral home Thursday evening March 1 from 4-8 PM. Private burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City. A woman of great strength, intelligence and humor, she was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Our memories of her will be a continued blessing.
