Colorado., then later moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While attending college he worked as a private pilot for a mining company.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Boltz, his five children, Toinette Fanelli (Jeff) Michele Castillo (Rudy), Reggie Boltz, William K Boltz (Kathy), Sherri Carnesecca (Pat) , Loving grandchildren, brother Roger Boltz, and nieces and nephews.
William enlisted in the civil Air Patrol, Coloroado National Guard and the Air Force, where he was promoted to Airman Second Class.
William later moved to Callifornia to pursue his engineering career where he met his wife Nancy of 55 years.
His first job was at Lockheed where he worked on the GOES satellite. He then moved to Ford Aerospace where he took a major role in working on the spacecraft Voyager that was launched in 1977. After the completion of his work at Ford Aerospace, William took on a career at ESL in the strategic defense business and later retired from General Dynamics.
In his spare time William did beautiful woodworking and was a fine artist who loved to draw and paint, He enjoyed referring soccer, umpiring little league for his children, along with taking on the role of Medicine Man for the Papago Tribe in the Indian Guides and with the name Sugar Bear in the Indian Princesses.
In his later years William spent time on the golf course surrounded by life long friends. When he wasn’t on the golf course, you could find him studying in his office or performing magic tricks for his grandchildren.
William was a one of a kind man and will truly be missed and loved by all who knew him.
