Vicki Marie Metsers

2019 at the age of 61, after her battle with Lymphoma. Vicki is survived by

her husband Ron Metsers, her son’s Kevin and Erik, daughter Kristi and

daughter-in-law Angelina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcel

and Nancy Van Poucke.

Vicki was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Marcel and Nancy Van

Poucke on November 7 th , 1957. She would be the oldest in her family,

followed by Kathy Murray (Mike) and Patti Eiland (Greg). She graduated

from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. She

then went on to obtain her Masters degree at Santa Clara University,

receiving an MBA. Vicki had a successful career, working at Hewlett

Packard for nearly 40 years, having been a great colleague and manager

to many.

Vicki met her husband Ron while living in California, and married shortly

after that, on August 23,1986. They raised three children together, Kevin

(30), Erik (27) and Kristi (22). While living in CA, Vicki never forgot about

her hometown in Arkansas, where she would visit with her family each

Christmas and summer, always cheering on her Razorbacks and never

missing an opportunity to be with family.

Vicki was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her primetime competition

shows. She loved taking trips to Wine country to enjoy some of her favorite

wine and cheering on the Golden State Warriors. She never missed an

opportunity to cheer on her kids and loved spending time taking trips with

them and her husband Ron. Vicki was the most gracious host, ensuring

that her family and friends had a great time at the many gatherings her

family hosted.

Vicki was a kind-hearted, generous and beautiful soul. She will be remembered by all, as a loving wife, caring mother, sister, and greatest friend, having touched so many lives during her time with us.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30am on Sunday April 14th, at the Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary (466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050). Friends and Family are welcome to a gathering immediately following the services at the Metsers home.
