Sandra Lynn Hussey

October 30, 1943 – November 3, 2022
Obituary of Sandra Lynn Hussey
IN THE CARE OF

Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary

Sandra Lynn Krikorian was born in San Bernardino, Calif., to her loving parents, Samuel and Flora Krikorian, on October 30, 1943, and passed on November 3, 2022. When Samuel was discharged from the army, they moved back to their home in Fresno, Calif., and raised a family that included Sandy's sister, Sharon, and brother, Steve. Sandy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961, married and gave birth to her daughter, Tracy.

Sandy rekindled a close relationship from her younger years and married the love of her life, Ted Hussey, on Valentine’s Day 2005. They moved to Livermore, Calif., where Sandy was a homemaker. She maintained her strong family ties in Fresno and treasured the times spent with them. Aunty Sandy was adored by all her nieces and nephew, their extended families, and her constant canine companion, Shiloh.

Sandy loved to be near the ocean and would make an annual pilgrimage to Cambria, Calif., on her birthday and wedding anniversary, to enjoy the fresh air and hear the ocean’s roar. She was also fortunate to have traveled on several trips to the East Coast and Europe. She enjoyed her time volunteering at the California Armenian Home and was an active member of Ani Guild.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Ted; daughter, Tracy Mora; son-in-law, Jake; and their children, Layne and Cristiano; sister Sharon Peters, her husband Ronald Peters, and their children, Jennifer Tranchina, Robin Berberian and Mitchell Peters; and sister-in-law, Judith Krikorian, and her daughters, Barbara Tryk and Samantha Krikorian.

A home service will be held at Yost & Webb Funeral Home (1002 T St., Fresno, CA) on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Armenian Church (220 S. Third St., Fowler, CA), with internment following at Masis Ararat Cemetery (250 N. Hughes Ave., Fresno, CA).

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice or to the Ginny L. Clements Breast Cancer Research Inst. at the University of Arizona.
