Samuel Felipe Velasquez Garcia, age 36, suddenly passed on Saturday, June 23, 2018 on the job in Fremont, California. Sammy was born April 22, 1982, in San Jose, California to Frances Maria Garcia Cunningham. Unfortunately, Samuel had to endure the passing of his mother in November of 1999. Samuel was raised by his grandmother, Anita Garcia, whom he loved with all his heart. He attended Mt. Pleasant High School in San Jose, California. Samuel worked at a security guard firm; quickly climbed up the chain and became an intricate part of the management team. Samuel had many artistic talents; he enjoyed drawing in general, but more specifically, comics and street art. He also enjoyed pottery making and had a passion for writing, producing music, playing the guitar and piano. Sammy held his family and friends near and dear to his heart. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Sammy’s laugh is unforgettable and could light up any room.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alexis Elizabeth Garcia (13 yrs) and Jasmine Marie Garcia (3 yrs) as well as his fiancé Nicole Jocson. After many trials and tribulations in Sammy’s life, he persevered and became a good man and father to his children. He turned a new leaf in life and accepted Christ as his savior. He was set to be baptized in Christianity on the day of his passing. Samuel (aka Sammy, Bubble, son, dad, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend) touched many of our lives and will be sorely missed.
