Miguel Oscar Lopez, known as Mike to his family and friends, passed away November 17,2012. He was one of eleven children to Josefa and Jesus Lopez. Mike grew up in Gilroy where he met the love of his life Carmen Lopez. They were married for 50 years. She passed away in 1998. He is survived by his six children, Christina Bravo (Harold), Ricardo Lopez (Linda), Michaela Heath (Jon), Theresa Kato (Karl), Marcos Lopez (Rhonda), Ramon Lopez (Cathy); thirteen grandchildren, Rechelle, Carlos, Nicolas, Daniel, Isaac, Ralph, Kimberly, Jackie, Stephanie, Gina, Zachary, Gabriel, Carmen, seven great grandchildren and sisters, Ernestina Zabala and Martha Jaso. He was a proud worker for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for 39 years. He enjoyed camping with his family in Yosemite and Sunset Beach. He loved gardening, the San Francisco Giants, the 49ers, USC football and watching tennis and golf whenever he could.
