Time flies man. I've been able to come to terms with your passing, but I cant help but break down every time I think of you. Miss you a ton,  Mike. You were such a  great friend to me. I had a dream about you today. One of the realest ones ive experienced... It was so weird. It was just the 2 of us, not sure where we were. I told you how i felt about you dying and all you did was cry ans hold me. You held me like you use to. I miss your hugs and love so much😭 i dont remmeber you saying anything after. I just remembering waking up and missing you even more. Theres no one second that goes by where im not thinking of you. I miss your soul!!!!! My Precious 2nd Cousin I never got to meet in person because I moved from California to Texas When I was young. I wish I would of gotten that chance to meet you Cuz. Alot of my California family I dont get to see much but on Facebook.  I could always tell by your facebook and others that you was such a great
 family guy. Your not just a family guy anymore Cuz, God sent you to your parents for a little while then called you back home. For what reason we will never know until we all meet up with the good Lord above.. You have so many that will miss you terribly Michael. Many hearts went with you and we will all get to see you soon. Many lifes will change loosing a good man, cousin, son, grandson and brother. I know because I have been through loosing my brother. My heart went with him to Heaven, please Hug him for me and I know Kenny welcomed you with open arms... I love you Cuz, your no longer suffering in this crazy world. My heart is broken and Alexis’ shattered. We feel numb, our brother’s body and heart beat was taken from us. He was such a great soul and always made me laugh when I saw him and spent time with him. He had a glowing soul that is still here and will stay with us forever. He touched so many people and brought our family back together. He is the light and we all need to remember the lessons he taught us all. He was and is such a great soul. He isn’t gone he is still with us, I feel the energy all the time. He was such a goof ball and we loved that. I only had the pleasure of knowing him two years but I feel like I’ve known him for 5. He was such a great brother to me. I’ll miss the times we had visiting eachother in Santa Barbara and Pacific Beach. Going out on double dates with him and passing him drinks because he was only 20 at the time. He was such a great person alexis and I are going to need a lot of help thru this. We are devastated. My pain is so great that I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack at times knowing how deep my wives pain is. He was such a great person in every way. I was just planning with him to stay at Alexis and I’s apartment for a week before this happened he was going to drive. We were so proud of him getting his license. Would have been some more great memories. He was the closest thing I’ve ever had to a brother and we were just about to get even closer this year. Our heart will always have a piece missing for our brother Michael and I’ll always remember the things you taught us all about life. Ull always be right here with us brother. I knew what u we’re telling me in my eyes the last day. I know exactly what u said and I’ll always have that with me. I’ll always take care of Alexis and I told him that. That’s what he was asking me in his eyes over and over again. He loved Alexis probably more than anything in this world. I am so devastated for myself and more for my wife. Don’t worry brother I’ll always take care of her. Love you 

I met Michael late 2018 through a friend and I got to know him better through going to church with him on Tuesday nights. Michael was defiantly the life of the party and was just an absolute joy to be around.  Every time after church the squad (that's our code name for the church clan) would go to out and talk about the service over some beers.  There was this community pool over by his house we would all hang in more often than not. Since all of us decided to go after hours each time, all of us guys had to jump the gate and be extremely quite. But it's really hard for us to be quiet! A lot of the time, the neighbors would complain and a security guard would have to be called out to investigate. I remember every single time Michael would do all the talking in attempt to get us out of our current predicament.... but it never worked. Every time, we had to pack up and go some place else, like at his grandma's house or just go get food. This was hard for me to write this because Michael became a very special friend to me. There is just an emptiness inside now that I can't see him in church anymore or come kick it with me and my brother at our house or go out late at night for a beer to just talk. I love you Michael <3 and even though he is not here anymore, our friendship will always be eternal and that goes for everyone that he interacted with.

My son, my first born beautiful baby boy... Michael I loved you before you were even born. You were the first boy I ever truly fell in love with💕. The anticipation and anxiety of your arrival on this earth and into my arms was so immense! You came into this world fighting to be here as you were 8 weeks premature. You left this world here on earth fighting the same way. You have been and always will be a warrior, my hero. Michael your love for others, especially your family was so great that no one that I know has that same heart! You NEVER gave up hope on anyone that you loved, especially me and your dad through our less than perfect decisions and times in struggles that we have both had when others around couldn’t see the hope. You have been the MOST AMAZING, LOYAL, BEAUTIFUL son that God graced me with to be your Mother here in earth! I know that Mother Mary has you wrapped in her loving arms, free from all the burdens you carried here on this earth in your short 21 years of life! I WILL be beside you again someday in heaven, but until that day comes I WILL NEVER stop missing you, loving you, honoring you through my continuous path that I have been on for the past 9 1/2 years, I will honor your memory, I will continue to “hear” what you have spoken to me and live life through the heart of yours!! Apart of my heart has died when you left this earth, and until we are together again, I suppose it will be that way. I will do my best to fill that void with justice for you and being there for others the way you did. My buddy, my boy, my son, my baby... you will always be mama’s boy no matter how far apart we are. Micheal, my best friend/soul mate/baby brother I can’t even put into words the amount of pain I feel in my soul. You were the ONLY person I could count on 1000% in the world. I’ve never felt so empty until I lost my other half. I’m not sure how to even write a memory about you... our WHOLE LIFE we’ve been making memories. There’s not even one specific moment I could narrow down to talk about... I’m not sure how I’m suppose to go on with life. What I do know is I WILL LIVE FOR YOU. I promise I’ll take care of our siblings just as you would. Your hugs were the best thing I remember about you. You’ve been the best brother since day 1. I can’t even count how many times we held each other and cried in our arms together. That’s what I’ll miss the most. I’m going to miss how you ALWAYS put a smile on my face even in the worst of circumstances. Michael you are the most beautiful soul in this world and in heaven. I’m so happy that you don’t have to deal with this awful worldly pain anymore. You were too good for earth, I know that for a fact. I have one of the most beautiful guardian angels now. This was us in preschool, you loved any photo we had together. Michael, I love you more than you could ever imagine. You were always there for me when I was going through losing grandma. You tried and tried no matter how many times I pushed you away. One of the last messages that I have from you was after her funeral telling me that no matter what, you had me. I will never forgot all of our memories. From preschool to when you came back and visited and you, me and alexis stayed up until 3 in the morning making brownies and grandma coming out and yelling at us because we were laughing too loud, to our high five trips to get pizzas and slam dunks to you just calling me and gram just because you wanted to talk. I promise you I’ll take care of your siblings and your mom just like you would. You were the best son, brother, and cousin anyone could have. I love you so much. I’ll see you soon 💙

Michael, you and Alexis were the first friends I knew. I have so many great memories with you I couldn’t begin to go through the process of weeding out which ones are most worthy or writing here. You were always there for me, and specifically you never stopped loving me through my addiction when others were scared away. You were the only one to witness and stand up for me in my abusive relationship. I can’t believe I’ll never have the opportunity to share a laugh together again. I love you and may all your suffering be over.

Earth lost a great man, but heaven gained an angel. Michael Munns, I don’t even know where to start. I met you a few years ago through some good friends and to be honest I don’t even remember how we started talking but I think that’s what true friendship is. You are one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever met. We lived together in SB for a while and those memories we shared as friends, Roomate’s, and brothers will be with me forever. We could not talk for a couple days or at most a week and then pick up right where we left off. You got me through some tough times and I will forever be great full that I met you. You’re one of my closest and best friends and we never needed an agenda to have a good time. I literally just come home from work, tired, or upset because of work, as soon as I came home, saw your face, I knew it was going to be a good day. The memories we made always make me smile and laugh. You always stood up for your friends and you were a loyal friend to me. You always checked up on me, and forced me to tell you what I was thinking about even when I wanted to be alone. Your presence and general vibe was that of care and you always, and I mean always made sure I was smiling. I thank you for being the best friend anyone could ever ask for. I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive the people who did this. But it’s not about that, I believe it’s about keeping your memory alive everyday.  This morning before I went to work I looked out at the ocean and there were rays of sun coming through the clouds, and I knew in that moment, you were telling me it’s going to be okay and you’ll always be there for me. In my heart, In my mind, forever in my memories,.. Michael Munns, I’m going to miss you till the day I get to see you again and it’ll be like we just talked yesterday. Rest In Peace brother I love you more than I  can even express in words.

Michael and I met in 2016 in highschool. When we first started hanging out we didn’t really like each other that Much but had the same carpool. After a few months and a lot of fights we became good buddies and he invited me over to his house. March 4 2016, When I got there he told me “I only let people I trust and care about here. Your welcome here man”. After highschool we didn’t see each other that much but maintained a close relationship and everytime he visited San Diego (at 1 am) I picked him up from the train station.  Fast forward 2018, when Michael was back living in San Diego we used to hangout every single day all day. We went through some crazy experiences and he saved my life multiple times. People use the expression “almost like brothers”. That did not apply to us. Our bond ran deeper than that and I consider him my family.  Michael was the most genuine and family/friend devoted person I’ve ever met. It goes without saying that you will NOT be forgotten.  I love you Michael. AMB for life

These memories with my precious son are treasures That will live in my heart forever. I’ll see you again son when I get there. Daddy loves you so much!Im so proud of the young man you became and all the love you gave so freely to everyone. You lived life through your kind heart and made so many relationships with friends and your family that were so rich in love. You taught all of us so much, especially about love. Michael and I became friends in the fall of 2016. Since our first days of making pizzas together, he and I maintained a very close relationship. After my high school graduation, he became one of the first people I would see when I would return from university each time. We never really had a plan when we would hangout. Trips to Santa Cruz, going fishing, or merely just driving around Morgan Hill in my jeep - I have not a single bad memory with him. Specifically, one of my favorite memories with Michael was when he and I, along with our other good friend, Cole, went through training to become lifeguards. The intensity of that single week was likely comparable to that of military training. From that week on, a foundation for a great friendship was in place. Michael was such a great homie to me; that guy would bring me something nearly every single time I picked him up from his house to kick it. Ranging anywhere from a water bottle to a single blueberry, he always showed his appreciation for me as a person, and I will always be grateful for that. Whether he was aware of it or not, his inherent kindness helped me through a lot of tough times. I will forever miss you Michael, thank you for being an amazing companion. Rest easy brother.
