Larry Garcia

Larry is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Carmen Garcia. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (& Anthony) DeCarlo and son, David Garcia. He leaves behind 3 grandchildren (Michael (& Lara) DeCarlo, David (& Sarah) DeCarlo, and Chris Garcia) and 5 great-grandchildren (Jessica, Lauren, Jason, Anna, and Justin DeCarlo).

Larry had a successful 32-year career as a welder for Westinghouse in Sunnyvale, where he received multiple awards for design and development of fabrication tools and procedures. He could build or repair anything – a house from the ground up, an engine, or even a toaster.

Larry loved to explore and was always game for a new experience. He loved travel, whether a camping trip to a National Park, visiting the surf in Hawaii, or his life’s dream trip to Ireland. He was a loyal and loving person whose most precious times were spent with family. He will forever be missed.
