Justine Rachel Garcia

It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Justine Rachel Garcia aka Teenie, who passed on July 20, 2023. She was born on September 3, 1979, in San Jose, CA to Gerald Garcia and Sonia Guel. She was first and foremost, a great mother. Solomon “Solo”, Milo, and Enzo, her sons, were always her number one priority. She also took on raising her brother's son, Eezequiel, after his passing and loved him like her own. They were her entire life, pride, and joy.

Justine loved to cook for her entire family. She didn’t need a special occasion; she just loved to have everyone over, cook and play music. She loved to sing, dance and have a good time. She had one of the greatest sense of humors. Big laugh and a big smile. She was the go-to person for her sisters and her friends. She always kept an open mind, never judgmental, and she was always honest. But if you were wrong, she'd tell you.

Justine always had a passion for drawing. This was something she'd like to do to pass time and to relax. But all who knew her knew she had a love for makeup. Starting in the 7th grade, Justine would sit in the mirror and put makeup on and then take it off. She would reapply multiple times, over and over perfecting her craft. No matter how busy life got, she made sure she got up early enough to doll herself up. Had to make sure to get that great daily selfie posted before the ripping and running behind all the kids.

Justine was preceded in death by her son, Enzo, father "Gerald, mother "Sonia", her brother "Jerry ”, and Ruben Diaz “Red”, the father of her sons.

Justine is survived by her sons, Solomon “Solo” and Milo; sisters, Lucinda, Lorraine, Angelica, Jamie; brother-in-law, Tomas; niece, Justina and nephews, Isaiah, Joseph, Elias, Hezekiah, and Eezequiel.

A visitation for Justine will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
