Joe M. Andrade

Joe was taken away from us way to soon and all of a sudden. Joe was born in Almagreira, Santa Maria, Azores. He arrived in Sunnyvale, California in May 1966 with his parents (Germano and Maria Andrade) and his sister Armenia. He worked along with his parents in the fields for a year before starting construction as a drywall installer with his uncle Amadeu in 1967. This started his 48 years career as General Contractor. He leaves behind his life partner Margarita Quea. His sons John Andrade, Jason Cooper, Daughter Alicia Andrade-Cuevas and Son-in-law John Cuevas. He also leaves five grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob Andrade, Isabel, Alexis and Isaac Cuevas. His Sisters and brother-in laws, Linda and David Sequeira, Armenia and Kevin Jefferson with niece Kristen and nephew Brian. He is also survived by his best friend and the mother of his children Christina Andrade. And many lifelong friends and family members. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 6-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10:30AM at Five Wounds Parish, 1375 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose.
