Today, Gilbert...was the toughest part of knowing you and parting words are very difficult to express. I know you went to be with the Lord and with that I can find some peace in parting. It's gonna be a tough road ahead, please be by our sides and especially Christian your son. I thank you for the gift of life in Gilbert Christian Chagoya III (Young Kriz) He is a beautiful and hardworking grandson. I know you were very proud of him.

I am so sad and hurt that you’re gone. I am just so lost. You have left earth too soon. But you would have told me that God wanted you home. It was your time. You are at a better place and you are no longer hurting. You were one of the greatest uncles I had. You were always so funny, always had advice and always willing to help me when I needed help. The memory I will never forget about you is your kindness & thoughtfulness for others. Gilbert, you've left to be with Jesus and we will see you in the gates of heaven my brother in Christ and through my Grandson. Your only Sole Heir, Christian looked up to you and he will never be the same without you. I pray comfort for the Chagoya family and my daughter Lupe Hernandez and her family.

You  knew how much I loved you and how much I always will. I will hold our memories dear to my heart and I promise never to let them part. I will miss having you over for dinner and all the laughs we shared. You were taken from us way too soon and my heart is broken because you are gone, but will  never be forgotten. When I look back and think of you I remember you being sweet and respectful all the time to me and others.
