Frieda Barnes

Aug. 10, 1925 to Feb. 24, 2023

Frieda, daughter of Henry an LuEmma Lee was born and raised in the state of Missouri.

At the age of 14 she married Beauford Barnes while living in St. Louis. They were married for 59 years until his passing in June of 1999.

They produced 4 beautiful babies, Sandra (predeceased in 2014), Dennis, Daniel and Deborah.

There were also 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

In the Barnes and Lee families, Frieda was the last of her generation, having reached the age of 97.

Family was the heart and soul of Frieda and she will be desperately missed. But, we will take comfort in knowing that she is back with that 18 year old boy she married 82 years ago.

A visitation for Frieda will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. Frieda will be laid in her final resting place on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mission City Memorial Park, 420 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
