Frank Johnson passed away on Saturday, July 30 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born to Clifford and Bernice Johnson in Monterey, California. He taught mathematics in Santa Clara for thirty years. Upon retirement, he purchased an airplane and flew away with his wife Marjorie; they crisscrossed the United States several times. Frank also played and taught classical guitar. Frank is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughters Ami Beatty and Jan Fey; sons Chris Johnson and Steve Bicknell; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Opera San Jose. A memorial service for Frank will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 18 at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara.
