Florence was born in Cavalier, North Dakota and later came to California as a teenager. She taught for the Santa Clara Unified School District as a first grade teacher for 32 years. Florence was a friend to many and will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Margaret Ross. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11AM at Los Gatos Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 125 E. Arques Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085.
