Esther M. Venegas

Our beloved mother entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2023 after a short illness. Born in Mexico on July 11th, 1942 she immigrated to the United States when she was 28 days old and became a citizen soon after. She grew up in Sunnyvale attending Mckinley elementary, Benner School and Sunnyvale High School. Mom worked for Palo Alto Medical Foundation for 30 years. Mom loved to dance, play the slot machines, travel, shop and she was an avid reader. She loved animals and was known for feeding all the little creatures around her apartment complex. She also spoiled all the fur babies in the family.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Rudy and Oliva Venegas, her brother Rudy Venegas and his wife Loretta, many uncles, aunts and cousins. Mom leaves behind her brokenhearted children, Lisa Buczeke (Walter) of Morgan Hill, Edward Fox of Santa Clara, Lynette Jaramillo (Steve) of Santa Clara. Her 3 grandchildren Brianna Garcia (Anthony) of Sunnyvale, Stephen Jaramillo (Mackenzie) of Sebastopol and Ashley Jaramillo of Santa Clara. Her 3 Great grandchildren, Olivia Venegas, Ava and Camila Garcia all of Sunnyvale. She also leaves behind her younger brother Bobby Venegas of San Jose, her Aunt Alice Barrera, her nieces and nephews and many cousins. Her godson Tom Venegas and her goddaughter Shelley Schmidt and numerous friends. Mom loved her family unconditionally and passionately and

we will miss her everyday of our lives.

The viewing will be on June 22nd 2023 from @ 5:00pm-9:00pm with the rosary at 6:30pm at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester, Santa Clara. Funeral mass will be held on June 23, 2023 at 11:00am

at St. Martins Church, 593 Central Ave, Sunnyvale. Interment immediately following at 12:30 at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Santa Clara Humane Society, Cancer Society or any charity of your choice.
