Dolores Cea

Dolores "Dee" Del Carlo Cea passed away on March 15, 2016 at Mercy Folsom Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in San Francisco and moved to San Jose soon after where she spent all her life. She graduated from San Jose High. She worked in retail most of her life, but retired from Santa Clara County after 15 years working in various departments. Dolores loved to read and was a wonderful cook and gracious hostess. She was an avid fan of the Oakland A's; this year they will have another angel in the outfield. She was an animal lover and owned many pets throughout her life. Dolores is survived by her daughters Lori Cea and Kristi Tavares (Ed Tavares), grandchildren Tyler Wallace, and Nicolas, Alexis & Andrew Tavares and numerous cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 31 from 5-9pm. Prayer service will be held Friday, April 1 at 10am; graveside service to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Dolores had requested that donations be made to the ASPCA to help the animals that she loved.
