Connie Ramirez

Connie passed away peacefully February 16th at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA. She was surrounded by her family. Connie was born December 8, 1924 in Del Rio, Texas to Matias and Felipa Sotelo. Connie is survived by her brother, Rudy Sotelo and her sister Vera Diaz, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Armando and Arturo Sotelo.

Connie married the love of her life Albert Ramirez Jr., on 03/03/46 and who passed away in 1996 they were married 50 years.

She leaves behind three sons, Joseph (Arlene) Ramirez, Dan (Terri) Ramirez, & Ron (Martha) Ramirez. Connie also had a son George (Melissa) who preceded her in death. She also had two foster children Angel Molina and Yolanda Molina Solorzano.

She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Adrienne (Devin) Wildman, Adam, Joy, Alex, Brianna, Vanessa, Ronnie, Justin (Cyndi), Michaela Ramirez & Leilani Yurong. She also leaves behind three great-grandsons, Brock Wildman, Jonathan & Matthew Ramirez.

She was a long time parishioner of St Justin’s Church, and lived her entire life in Santa Clara.

We would like to thank her primary loving caregiver, Gloria Samonte who cared for her the last 4 years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Monday, February 27th, from 5-7 with Rosary at 7:00pm at Lima Family Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 28th at 12:00 noon at St. Justin's Church 2655 Homestead Rd. Santa Clara. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
