Charles Geiger of Orange, California passed away February 21, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Charlie was born August 11, 1944 in Manhattan, New York to Helen and Simon Geiger. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Emile Mimran. Charlie is survived by his wife Brenda Geiger of Orange, California having had 42 years together. His sons Robert Geiger with his wife Noelle of Islip, New York, Christopher Geiger of Oceanside, California, his sister, Ellen Erchlich Mimran of Santa Barbara, California, two granddaughters Courtney and Brooke Geiger of Islip, New York, brother-in-law and wife David and Laura Elrod and two nephews John and David Elrod of Little Rock, Arkansas. (his fur family, Bear and Freeway). Charlie was in sales and marketing for several large computer companies. He was proud of his service with the 82nd Airborne. He loved his family very much and was their go to guy for any problems with a computer. He could have set the Guinness Book Record for longest time spent shopping in an electronic store. There will be a viewing at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary in Santa Ana, California, March 2, 2017. The family will be there from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Santa Barbara, California on March 4, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
