Robert (Bob) Kolar passed peacefully on September 12, 2020 at the age of 86. Bob was born in New York on July 26, 1934 to Lillian and Joseph. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a Master’s degree from Steven’s Institute of Technology. He worked in various management positions for Fritsche Brothers, Warner Lambert, Laura Scudders and Hain Foods. Bob was married for 62 wonderful years to his loving wife, Betsy. He is survived by her and four children: Diane Dooley (Steve), Richard Kolar (Stephanie), Brian Kolar (Nancy) and Susan Hopper (Joe); six grandchildren: Nick Dooley (Kelly), Lindsay Lehman (Jake), Katie Kolar, Kenny Kolar, Joey Hopper and Eric Hopper; two great grandchildren: Thomas Lehman and Logan Dooley; brother: Don Kolar. Bob was loved and respected by many. During his life, Bob was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Orange, an avid bridge player and a huge sports fan. He loved to travel with family and friends, and took countless cruises and tours all over the world. His greatest joy was seeing his family all together. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, as soon as it is safe to do so.
