From a very young age, Precious possessed a radiant smile and an infectious personality that would light up any room. Her personality shined through even before she could walk, demonstrating a zest for life that was truly amazing. Her personality was captivating, she never met a stranger!
Precious attended Lynnwood High School, where her vibrant presence made her a beloved member of the student body. Her passion and fun spirit spread to everyone she encountered and left an indelible mark on the hearts of her classmates.
One of the defining characteristics of Precious was her love for all things glamour. Even at the tender age of two, she loved to dress up and would often get into her mother’s make-up and head directly to the red lipstick! You would also catch her sneaking and putting on her Aunt’s sunflower earrings, clipping them on her ears the best she could. Precious radiated confidence and embraced her unique style, adding a touch of glamour to every aspect of her life.
At the age of 16, Precious had a spiritual awakening while attending a gospel rap concert and dedicated her life to Christ.
In 2011, Precious had a daughter, Malaysia Kimora Monet Stevenson. She adored her baby, and they had a beautiful relationship, the two were inseparable.
After high school, Precious pursued a career as a security guard, serving the students on the campus of UCLA with unwavering dedication and commitment. Precious' work ethic and her genuine care for others shined brightly in this role.
Precious loved to dance. Whether it was in her bedroom, at social events, at a grocery store, or even just while walking down the street, she would break out into dance, showcasing her energetic and free-spirited nature. Her moves were captivating, and it was impossible not to be drawn in by her infectious love for dance, some would say she was a natural at twerking!
During her time with us, Precious brought joy and inspiration to countless others. Her infectious smile, coupled with her vivacious personality, served as a beacon of light for those around her. She had a way of making people feel special and appreciated, effortlessly. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Precious leaves behind a loving legacy, cherished by her daughter Malaysia Kimora Monet Stevenson. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Douglas, who supported her through every step of life. Precious was also surrounded by the love of her six sisters: Kiwanna Burks (Ashley Jennings), Anieya Eraseren, Jasmine Bracy, Iyana Bracy, Sajida Bracy, Elizabeth Walton and her brother, Steven Bracy Jr.
In addition to her immediate family, Precious is remembered by her two nephews, Kiwan "King" Burks, II and Dezmond Smith, and her two nieces, Delilah Smith and Brooklynn Bracy. Precious was loved dearly by her aunts, Erneice Jackson, Sacreea King (Travis King), Vennita Jackson, Tanosha Bodiford, and Robin Lee.
Precious had a special bond with her Grandfather Curtis Mac Douglas Jr. who was always there to offer guidance and love, her Grandmother Ernestine Jones, four great uncles: Robert Sims (Juanita Sims), Bruce Douglas, Zac Pierson, and Anthony Douglas; two great aunts, Crystal Burnside and Monique Hannah; a life-long friend Armando Justin, Precious was beloved by her cousins Anntonette Douglas, Renee Pierson, Romeo Pierson, Aaron Pierson, Oceana Pierson, Tanisha Brown, Rayvin Sims, Tray Sims, Lauren Sims, Isaiah Brown, and a host of cousins, friends and loved ones.
Precious is proceeded in death by her father Steven Barcy Sr., her aunts, Anglela Douglas, and Theresa Berry, a cousin Zakkar Pierson, a loving great grandmother Dorothy Sims, her grandmother who was always her guardian angel Rose Maire Hopson, her great grandfather Curtis Douglas Sr., her grandfather Johnnie Giles, and an uncle Dale Douglas.
May her beautiful spirit rest in eternal peace.
