Patricia "Pat" Hoiles Wallace

Patricia Hoiles Wallace, 83, of Santa Ana, CA passed away on September 12, 2022. She was born in Orange, CA on August 27, 1939, attended The Bishops School in La Jolla, CA, as well as Pomona College, subsequently graduating from Chapman College. She was married to Richard Allan Wallace on February 24, 1962. Later in life, she worked in real estate and studied law at Western State School of Law, where she received a Juris Doctorate and became a member of the State Bar of California.

Patricia was a member of the Assistance League of Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Chapter of P.E.O. International (a philanthropic educational organization), and The Center Stars (a support group for Segerstrom Center of the Arts).

Patricia had a passion for tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, mountain hiking, walking, and most of all, cats. She was down to earth and had a terrific sense of humor. Patricia was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Patricia is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Richard “Dick” Wallace; her two sons, Greg of Jackson, WY and Brian of Lake Havasu City, AZ; her two daughters-in-law, Liz Wallace and Jodi Wallace; her four grandchildren, Dana, Amy, Driver, and Peyton; and her two sisters, Judy Threshie of Santa Ana, CA, and Betty Bassett of Austin, TX.

Patricia is predeceased by her son Jeffrey Lind Wallace, her brother James Howard Hoiles, and her parents Clarence Harrison Hoiles and Mabelle Schieber Hoiles.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday October 2, 2022 at Fairhaven Memorial Park in the Waverly Chapel.
