Joe was born on April 15th, 1957 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was the oldest of four children. From an early age, Joe demonstrated an intelligence that wanted to know all the answers and an adventurous spirit that sometimes led to a little mischief. Joe never fully conformed to societal rules as he believed that we were the owners of our own lives and futures.
In 1979, Joe married his best friend Beatriz. They moved to Santa Ana, California and for 45 years they built a nurturing home and a loving family. They had two children, Daniel and Grecia, who adore and admire their parents.
Although he had multiple jobs because his mind always wanted to learn new skills and challenge himself, he was a true businessman and leader. Wherever he went, Joe would become a role model and inspiration to others. He was the man that had all the solutions and always knew what to do. He was a teacher and mentor to many.
Above all, Joe loved God. He believed in a loving and forgiving God. While he did not belong to a specific religion, he was a theologist that could recite any part of the bible and analyze scripture for hours. He would spread God's teachings to anyone who was willing (or even unwilling) to listen. With God, Joe was able to guide multiple people through difficult times or help them transform their inner self. His other passions were science, philosophy, psychology, space, and good glass of wine.
Music was very important for Joe. His favorite was classic rock, especially Pink Floyd. He was their biggest fan because of Pink Floyd's wonderful music and powerful lyrics. He passed on his love for music onto his children who will continue to play and sing his favorite songs.
Joe was the best of men. There was not one day that his wife and children did not feel loved or supported by him. He was willing to do and sacrifice anything for his family. Not only was he the captain of the family but he was their friend. He prepared his children for life's adversities and constantly imparted all of his wisdom so that they could be strong and courageous like him. Words cannot express how much his family will miss him. Joe was a fighter up to the last second. He fought hard to stay with his family. God granted his wish because he will live eternally in their hearts and minds. His words and advice will be forever ingrained in their souls and they will never stop loving him.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away"
