Jerry Kenneth Arnold was born on June 28, 1932 in Dresden, Texas to Luther and Alva Arnold. He had two brothers Orville and Chuck. The Arnold family moved from Texas to California where Jerry attended High School in Riverside, California and graduated in 1950. Jerry was dear friends with the Baker Bros Family for many years.
Jerry married the love of his life Nancy Minter on June 14th, 1953 in the Chapel of the Bells in Anaheim, California. They had one daughter together, Kathleen Arnold and three grandchildren: Markelle, Brooke and Trevor.
Jerry was a Marine and fought in the Korean War. He achieved the rank of Sargent and earned several medals during his time in the military: Korean Service Medal with two stars, National Defense Service Medal, United Nation Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
Jerry worked in construction at the Hanh Dev. Company for 20 years. He enjoyed gardening, traveling all over the United States with Nancy in their motor home and maintaining his beautiful tree roses. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for 5 years and was also a deacon at the Church of Christ.
Jerry fought a brave battle with Dementia. He passed at his home in Hemet, California on April 22, 2021. Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughter, Kathleen, grandchildren, Markelle, Brooke and Trevor and a host of other family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
