Edna Olson

Edna Olson, 82, of Orange, California, passed away on February 5, 2023 after a battle with dementia. She was born on July 9, 1940 to parents Adam and Emily Goodyear in Billerica, Massachusetts. Edna grew up alongside her six siblings: Norman, Barbara, Ethel, Donald, Shirley, and Dorothy. As a child, Edna loved ice skating. Edna graduated from Billerica High School in 1958.

Edna married Larry Olson on March 22, 1969 inside of a small chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they raised their two dauhters: Laura and Melissa. In addition to caring for her family, Edna had a career in arts & crafts, especially quilting, which she had a particular gift for. She was also a lover of cats, having owned at least 10 different cats over 16 years each.

Edna is survived by her sister, Dorothy Sampson; her two daughter, Melissa Olson and Laura Frazier; her grandchildren, Myles Frazier, Travis Frazier, and Garrett Frazier; as well as her great-grandchildren, Maddox and Brody. Services will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California on March 3rd at 11:00AM.
