Carol Ann Hibbard

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, Carol Ann Hibbard, wonderful Mother, Nana, and friend, passed away at the age of 73.

Carol was born on December 11, 1945, in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Edward and Christine LaRue. In 1978, she moved to California. She spent the majority of her career working as a legal secretary for various firms in Orange County, CA.

From 1964 to 1968 she was married to Paul R. Bonneau. They had one daughter, Holly. From 1969 to 1999, she was married to John A. Hibbard. They had two daughters, Terri and Kelly.

Carol loved bowling, tinkering in her garden, playing dominoes, shopping, and traveling with her friends or visiting family. She was a very thoughtful and giving person, always there for her loved ones. There was nothing more special to her than her family, and she was a very loyal friend. She had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor, and a kind, compassionate spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, and her mother, Christine. Carol is survived by her daughters, Holly (Mark) Cislo; Terri (Neal) Dion; and Kelly (James) Gibson. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren: Katie, Aiden, Hailey, Nathan, Emily, Hannah and Brock.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary located at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA.
