William (Bill) Roffe of Sanford, FL, 84, passed peacefully on February 26, 2015 with his devoted family by his side. Bill was born in Delray Beach, Florida to his loving parents, Larry and Mickey Roffe. When Bill was young they moved to Cherry Lake, Florida. After graduating from Madison High School, Bill joined the Air Force and retired at the rank of Chief Master Sargent after 22 years of service and moved his family to Central Florida, where he worked at General Electric, Sanford Auto Parts, and Tom Kleppe and Associates. He was preceded in death by his wife Lida Roffe, his brother Lawrence Roffe, his sons Rodney, Red and Russell Foye and his grandson Jamie Adair. Bill is survived by his sisters, Wanda Dickinson and Pat Ruttan; sons Randall Roffe, Mark Roffe and Rick Foye; daughters Becky Adair (George Simkanich) and Melissa Diblin (Mark Diblin); daughter-in-law Barbara Foye; his grandsons Nick Adair, Josh Diblin, Jason and Eric Foye; his granddaughters Emma Winter-Roffe, Dorie Diblin, Abby Diblin and Molly Diblin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is at 10:00 following funeral services on Monday, March 2 2015 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel with interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
