He was born in Wilmington, DE on June 25, 1927. Bill graduated from Claymont High School and married Jane Brodie June 2, 1951.
Bill worked his entire career in sales for Sears and Tri-State Carpet. He was a member of Masons and Royal Order of the Jesters. Bill was very involved in fund raisers for the Shriners Hospital and had a passion for Golf, spending time with family and friends. Bill never met a stranger and was very outgoing.
He is preceded by his wife, Jane Brodie McCreary, who passed away July 31, 2020.
Bill is survived by his children Mary Jane (Dale) and Bill (Elaine); grandchildren, Kristan (Ryan), Jane (John), Justin, Brandon (Meredith), and Ryan (Ariel); great grandchildren, Autumn, Emma, Juliana, Jillian, Dylan, Callie and Emory, and his siblings, Lois, Fred, and Jimmy.
A graveside service with military honors for William will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021at 10:30 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754.
