Wade Marshall Smith

July 19, 1935 – April 14, 2019

Sanford, Florida – Wade M. Smith, 83, passed away April 14, 2019 at South Seminole Hospital, Longwood, FL. He was born July 19, 1935 in Caribou, the son of Charles M. Smith and Clara (Somers) Smith.

Wade graduated from Caribou High School, Class of 1954.

He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Diana (Jordan) Smith, two sons- Lawrence (Larry) Smith and wife Lynn Smith of New Smyrna Beach, Fl and Charles and wife Amy Smith of Sanford, FL. Grandchildren: Sarah and husband Rev. Landon Clouse of Goffstown, NH, Naia, Leia and Levi Smith of Sanford, FL and great Grandchildren: Jasper, Brielle, Ezra, Oliver and Gwenyth Clouse of Goffstown, NH.

Brother Wesley and wife Barbara of Fort Pierce, FL and sister Sandra Adomovicia of Terryville, CT. Sisters in Law: Geraldine Shaw Whittaker of Mars Hill; Roberta Hagerman of Brunswick; Wilma and husband Dr. William Burbury of Brooksville, FL; Marilyn Lunney of Presque Isle and brother in law William Dunlavey of Presque Isle. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sisters in law Judith Smith and Helena Dunlavey; brothers in law Robert Adomovicia, Roy Shaw Jr. John Whittaker and Edward Hagerman.

Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Caribou.
