Sue C. Koke

Fannie Susan Cordell Koke, 101, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Sue was born on July 7, 1914 in Hartwell, Georgia; the daughter of Henry and Berta Cordell. She retired from the Gas Company there in Sanford where she worked as a bookkeeper. She was the wife of Joe W. Koke, who preceded her in death on October 15, 1977. She was the longest living member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford, Florida. In 2011, Sue sold her Sanford home of 65 years and moved to Woodbridge, VA to live with her daughter. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son Charles W. Koke and his wife Susan of Sanford, FL., daughter Linda S. Paules of Woodbridge, VA., three grandchildren Ty Koke, Nancy Paine, and Michelle Paules, great grandchildren Carter and Shelby Paine. Funeral Services are to be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 12:30pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A Sanford, Florida 32771. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery. Family suggest in lieu of flowers donations be made to ARC-GPW, 13505 Hillendale Drive, Dale City, VA 22193.
