She was born in 1937 in Indiana, PA to parents Myron and Grace Wolf. She graduated high school in 1955 where she was an active clarinet player in the marching band beginning in her freshman year.
She married Ed Holby in 1958 and became a devoted mother to son, Jeffrey and daughter Kimberly. They were married for 65 years.
She entered the workforce in 1975 at Homewood Toy and Hobby in Birmingham, AL., where she became interested in collectible dolls. She acquired an extensive collection which were proudly displayed in her home.
After moving to Florida in 1983, she began working in the optical field and spent the next 25 years getting to know all the customers on a first name basis. Anyone coming through door was greeted by her bubbly personality and beautiful smile.
Her greatest pride and joy was her grandson Jeremy. They enjoyed many adventures together at the theme parks and playing games in the swimming pool at her home. She always made sure he had friends to play with when he visited and there were always plenty of late-night trips for ice cream or a “hot and now” doughnut.
She was an avid Alabama Football fan and enjoyed watching games with her husband. Her happiest times were spent camping and boating with friends and family in Alabama.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ed, son Jeffrey, sister Leora Stewart, and nephew Rob Sickler.
She is survived by daughter Kimberly, sister Karen Wolf Sickler, grandson Jeremy (Heaven), great granddaughter Stella-Rose, daughter-in-law Tami Bailey Holby, nephews John Stewart (Paragi), Douglas Sickler, Matthew Sickler.
