My mom, Dona Josefina, and Rosita were always together at church.  Both passed away at the young age of 98, 2 years apart.  Dona Josefina was the oldest of the two.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Rosita was not only a wonderful neighbor, she became a good friend. I will miss seeing and visiting with her. ❤️

Our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Lopez family on the passing of "Rosita".  We are so blessed to have known her all these years (over 20 in all).  Not just a loving, caring and giving person to us but to Josie's mom as they were the two eldest ladies at Markham Woods Church for a long time.  Very good friends, always having things to chat about on their visits together.  We were blessed to share some time with her about 3 weeks ago while she was in the hospital.  She was so talkative and holding our hands as she reminded us how faithful we all need to be at times like this.  Always the Bible lecturer and the one to make sure we never lose faith in our Lord.  She is deserving of her seat at "His" table now.  May she RIP.   She will be missed.

I remember her very well as she was my art teacher in my early teens. My condolences and prayers to her family.

Back in the 1950's, when we were teen agers, Doña Rosita organized a very nice party at the López Rincón home  for all of us. There were games, music, food, and refreshments.  A few years ago, Mary Ellen, my brother Gregorio and his wife Matilde, enjoyed supper with Doña Rosita at a nice restaurant in Aguadilla. She said that Don Armando, her future husband, was on active duty in  the U.S. Army during WWII when they were dating. I still remember her beautiful voice as she was sharing these stories.

Needless to say, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your mother. My prayers go out to all of you and I know God will receive her with open arms.
You were blessed with her presence and she guided you with her love and perfect example, which only a mother can provide.  Rest assured, she is looking down and smiling because each and every one of you have made her proud.

It was a treat to get to share with Rosita just recently, God allowed us a rare chance to spend  some quality time with her when Rosa and Jimmy Caro from Houston, TX came to visit.
